Produced & Directed By Andy Taylor

A dark, twisting, comedy thriller written by Anthony Shaffer
(author of the original "Sleuth", "The Wicker Man" and Hitchcock's "Frenzy")

This version of the play is the rarely performed revised version from 1987.

Murderer opens with one of the most truly horrifying scenes ever devised for the stage, Shaffer's play unfolds upon an incredulous and mesmerized audience. This tale of murder, revenge and sexual claustrophobia from the author of Sleuth and The Wicker Man is constantly shifting and twisting around the obsessions of a man fascinated by the crimes of some of our most famous murderers.

But where does such a fascination end and the compulsion to kill begin?

Written, Produced & Directed By Paula Rowlands

Twisted Angels tells the story of five prostitutes working the streets of Liverpool. As we follow Tanya, Colleen, Sarah, Kiera and Julie we see how they survive the harsh climate of their very real cruel and bizarre world.

On their journey the girls meet a variety of weird and wonderful characters, like their transvestite friend and guide LollyPop who runs the LollyPop Lounge, a bar which the girls use as a sanctuary from their troubled lives.

Love, fear, drink, drugs, sex and death all play a part in the lives of these Twisted Angels.

This adult themed play is a mix of comedy, drama, music and dance with dark undertones.

This play was a sell-out in 2006, 2007 and more recently in 2008 - so we're doing it again!!!

In 2009 we are hoping to take Twisted Angels to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival!!

Planning and preperation are now well underway but there's a lot more work yet to be done!

In addition to this, we are also going to be filming a video diary type documentary which will feature all aspects of planning, casting, rehearsing and production of what it takes to get your play on stage at the Edinburgh Festival.

We hope that the finished film will be made available to other theatre production companies and organisations who might find it of interest.
