Twisted
Angels tells the story of five prostitutes working the streets
of Liverpool. As we follow Tanya, Colleen, Sarah, Kiera and
Julie we see how they survive the harsh climate of their very
real cruel and bizarre world.
On
their journey the girls meet a variety of weird and wonderful
characters, like their transvestite friend and guide LollyPop
who runs the LollyPop Lounge, a bar which the girls use as a
sanctuary from their troubled lives.
Love,
fear, drink, drugs, sex and death all play a part in the lives
of these Twisted Angels.
This
adult themed play is a mix of comedy, drama, music and dance
with dark undertones.
PLEASE
NOTE: Due to the sensitive
nature of the subject matter and the realism we have tried to
bring to the play, we have created a corporate statement to
inform potential audiences (and visitors to our website) about
how we have approached the subject of prostitution in our productions.
Please click the corporate statement for more information.

Since
it's premiere in November 2006, we had many requests for us
to do Twisted Angels again - so we did!!
The
play ran from 13th - 16th June 2007 at The Little Theatre, Birkenhead
and once again we played to virtually sold-out audiences every
night. The response from audiences was not only amazing but
also encouraging with many requests for us to take the play
to greater things!!
We'd
like to thank everybody who was involved with Twisted Angels
- on & off stage, all the crew and everybody who worked
on the front of house each night. You all did an amazing job!!!!!!!!!!!!!
