The following is a corporate statement by Out The Bag Productions reflecting it's handling of the subject of prostitution in our play Twisted Angels:

Twisted Angels looks into the lives of women who prostitute themselves.

The play is essentially about raising awareness to the appalling situation of prostitutes in our society, and humanising their reasons for taking up this 'business' as a way of life. Out the Bag Productions feel strongly that it is a subject that cannot be ignored.

Twisted Angels contains situations that these women can find themselves in - involving drugs, sexually transmitted diseases, alcohol abuse and violence.

The show contains strong language, nudity and scenes of a sexual nature. This is to emphasize the nature of the real world of prostitution, not just for entertainment.

Our company takes it seriously when involving teenagers in this production. The appropriate Authorities and parents are all apprised of the content of their scenes in the play, and protection of these teenagers during rehearsals and performances is of the highest priority. They are chaperoned at all times and only see the scenes in which they are involved. The use of teenagers in the play is necessary to point out how prostitution effect's their lives in reality.

We hope this will rest any concerns our audiences or visitors to the website might have.
